I am now Dog - D.David Croot
I am a literary-horror author who flutters across genres as he pleases. Tis most fun. I have written a well received set of Fairytales, a slo-burn literary romance and a whole batch of crazy-deranged semi-autobiographical fiction. My Horror output receives the most reads. The most frequent comment in a review appears to be 'unique' and this makes me proud. Doesn't even mean they enjoyed the story but, unique, or at the very least, different, is something I strive to do with every moment of my life. It's the style I crave... My themes are often intricate and concerned with the individual at multiple levels of existential crisis. Not always, but often...I do not always write in the same genre because this does not appeal to where the ideas reside. I follow the idea and fly with the joy of that idea until its completion annoys the heck out of me. Leave it six months... then with a little perspective it usually gets finished. That's me, D.David Croot. I upload frequently. Look forward to being read. The reader’s opinion is exciting every time.

I am now Dog I am now Dog is dedicated to my Dad and my brother. We are all bastards and get away with far too much in life. But life is pure and so are we. This is the reason I wrote I am now dog. It’s funny, hip and toys with the human condition as well as current socio-political events in a way that that, frankly, turns my literary head on. There is a debt of honour for Mikhail Bulgakov’s heart of the dog, which I felt, failed/meandered in many places. Such is life, such are other people
