If you want to elevate your writing, mentoring is an excellent option. It offers a unique chance to develop a one-on-one relationship with a professional writer and refine your craft.
Your mentor will conduct a thorough review of your manuscript, focusing on characterisation, tone, and structure.
We provide detailed comments directly on your Word document and return the annotated manuscript, along with a written report, via email.
For an additional fee, we offer a one-hour feedback session online, where you and your mentor can discuss your work, sparking new ideas and solutions. This interaction is a vital part of the creative process and the foundation of the author-mentor relationship.
This ongoing relationship allows for redrafting between sessions, with the goal of bringing your work to a publishable standard. Your mentor can also help you craft your pitch to agents and publishers and provide free resources to demystify the submissions process.
This mentoring service is available for novels, memoirs, and short story collections.
Our mentoring packages are fully customisable to meet individual needs. We recommend an initial phone conversation (free of charge) to discuss your creative project and your goals for the mentoring relationship.
How does it work?
Our rate is broken into two parts.
We charge £195 per 5000 words of writing critique. This includes detailed feedback on your writing.
We charge £55 for the 1-hour zoom call session to discuss your work and help answer any questions you may have.
You can take the sessions at your own pace. We recommend one session a month, but that is up to you.
