JAMES M.BECHER graduated from Clearwater Christian College in 1970 with a B.A.in Bible-lit. and from Biblical Seminary in 1974 with an M.Div. While serving in a foreign student ministry, he also started writing his first 2 novels, and he met his wife, Berenice from Venezuela. Married in 1980, they went to Venezuela in 1989 for 2 years, where, while teaching English, he completed this novel.

2025 scientists plan to time-travel to Eden to warn Eve and thus prevent the fall, ending all evil and disease. But they can only travel 200 years, more or less, at a time. Having gained the needed financial support from a wealthy financier, the scientists build the first time machine in which three of them take off on their imposing mission. They visit six different historical time periods and at one point, are pulled forward to their future and are forced to fight in a senseless war.
