Michelle Robinette, a passionate educator for over 25 years, with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from St. John Fisher University and a Masters' Degree in Special Education from Nazareth University, began her career as a math teacher before transitioning to Special Education. Inspired by her clinical experience at the Marie Callahan Reading Clinic, Michelle became fascinated with reading instruction and worked to support striving middle school readers. She has also worked as an adjunct professor at the graduate level. Upon completion of her Certificate of Advanced Study from SUNY Oswego, she expanded into administrative roles, including district data coordinator and curriculum director. Michelle has actively participated in professional development on the science of reading as well as the Data Wise process from Harvard. Now, as the Coordinator of Grant Services for GST BOCES, Michelle is dedicated to finding funding and advocating for evidence-based literacy instruction that benefits ALL students. She is a strong proponent of educating the whole child, addressing social-emotional, physical, and academic needs in partnership with families and the greater community.
