Stephen Kenning is an author of non-fiction and fiction books. His first love is writing thriller non-fiction books, although having worked for many years as a senior leader in education, he has also written a couple of forward-thinking education books. Stephen’s first four non-fiction thrillers are based in Barcelona. He has spent many happy times in Barcelona, once owning an apartment there, in the edgy Born district, for many years. This experience inspired his novels, drawing from the rich history of the city as well as from the many good friends that he met in the great city. ‘Lost Days’ is a unique stand alone book, and is his first book to be published by a recognised publisher, Austin Macauley. Another book, ‘Barcelona Betrayal’ will also shortly be published. Three of his books feature the infamous fictional Barcelona detective, Will Ferran.
