Jay Graham Jay Graham is an actor, film-maker and award winning screenwriter from Glasgow in Scotland, where he lives with his partner Marieke and cat Bub. Nothing Dies in Darkness is his first full length novel. Jay has been a lover of Fantasy adventure for over three decades and has written countless adventures, short stories and tall tales about the land of Karn over that time. Jay's journey into fantasy began with such titles as King Solomon's Mines and Ursula Le Guin's Earthsea Novels. At the age of ten Jay and his Brother found Marvel Superheroes Roleplaying Game which they immediately rejigged to use in a fantasy setting which ended up being the nascent precursor to Karn. Not long after Jay found a four page review of Mayfair Games City State of the Invincible Overlord. A Tabletop Role playing Game setting. This very swiftly led to Dungeons and Dragons, Role master and hundreds of other RPG systems which became both brothers primary hobby through their teenage years. Jay credits Role Playing Games as being where his love of acting, writing and the creative arts originated. Over the Covid Pandemic, Jay had the time and space to perfect his first movie script which became his first movie as a Producer, Writer and Director, this also won Jay his first award in film making. A Best Screenplay award for his movie script 'Morning Jim' Dungeon Mastering D&D, Vampire & others became almost like a full time job for Jay during the Pandemic and led to him finally finding the time to pen his first novel.
