Roderick Easdale is a freelance journalist, writing primarily on golf, cricket and travel, and a crossword compiler. He is the author of five non-fiction books: England’s One Test Wonders (Parapress), The Novel Life of PG Wodehouse (Superscript/Andrews), The Don: Beyond Boundaries (Lume), Wally Hammond: Gentleman & Player (Lume), England’s Greatest Post-War All Rounder (Lume). Summer at Tangents is his debut novel. Roderick has drawn upon his experience of having been a member of six golf clubs, as well as more than twenty-five years as a golf journalist which has involved playing golf in around 20 countries, to write a vivid, affectionate character-driven comic novel set in a village dominated by its golf club.
