Liberto Orrego is the pen name of an aspiring writer and an elementary school teacher in Chile. He has always been passionate about reading and began writing ten years ago. He studied English Language and Literature, Catholic Religion, and Counseling, focusing on Individual, Family, and Education. During his postgraduate studies, a philosophy professor shared that every person's story is more important than any scientific discovery or the vastness of the galaxies. This perspective greatly impacted him, as he had previously undervalued his life story. He was inspired to start writing as a tribute to his family and the professor who influenced his outlook on life. He has written about 16 short stories about the individuals who profoundly influenced his childhood through their actions or simple words. These stories include members of his family, teachers, and friends. He has compiled these family stories into two books: one in Spanish and the other in English. The English version contains images, while the Spanish version does not. The book's title is "The Ongoing Melody of My Family Saga." This title reflects the resilience, hard work, effort, and perseverance of the individuals who raised him. Some of these individuals are still near him today, while others have passed away, bringing his memories back to when he was seven. Within his books, he shares cherished memories and real-life events from his family, focusing on the positive aspects of life. He states that every life and family experiences joyous and challenging moments, and we must make the best of our experiences.
