Isra looks across the Arabian Sea, beyond the oppressive cloud blanketing the sky. She has heard tales of green pastures, abundant crops, and blue skies. She wonders if life is better in the land across the sea. Isra looks at Amiin, her older brother. Orphans navigating a dusty, bandit country. A land of no governance. Food and water shortages. A parched heat that pushes their bodies into the ground. They have no choice but to keep moving hour by hour, day by day, surviving.
