The Silent Thread - Robert Masnica

Born in Northampton, UK, Robert Masnica has always had a passion for storytelling. From a young age, he enjoyed writing, but the idea of pursuing it as a career seemed unrealistic. Encouraged to take a more conventional path, he studied Law at university and went on to work in several law firms. However, the rigid 9-to-5 lifestyle never suited him. Seeking a career with more freedom and fulfillment, Rob transitioned into becoming a driving instructor—a profession he remains passionate about to this day. Despite finding success in this role, the urge to create never faded. At 31, he finally released his debut novel, The Silent Thread, a unique and thought-provoking story influenced by George Orwell and Charlie Brooker. Now, Rob dedicates part of his time to developing new stories across various genres, constantly brainstorming, researching, and bringing new characters to life. While he sometimes wishes he had started sooner, he is now fully committed to his writing journey.
