Caroline Stokes was born in Sheffield, UK in 1979, the fourth daughter of Jeffrey and Susan Stokes. She made her first professional short story sale in 2013. In Autumn of 2013, she began teaching football coaching within the mental health sector including; The NHS, Homeless Support and ran various football tournaments bringing together mental health football teams from across the UK. Writing in the evenings and on the weekends, she continued to produce short stories and to work on novels. Caroline lives in England with her wife, Michele. They are regular contributors to a number of charitable organisations including Guns Down, Unn-Blade.
