The Brief.

To support the launch of author Incy Wincy, a brilliant crime novel by author RJ Dark. Wavesback Publishing, launched by Nick Bates (ex-Harlequin UK and HQ/HarperCollins UK Sales & Marketing Director) contacted us to run a targeted PR campaign for their author, RJ Dark.

They also wished to experiment with some of our other services, including Book Club Outreach, Author Spotlight, and our ebook review service.

The Work

The Book Network team developed a comprehensive strategy to deliver timely, targeted PR around the author, text, and publisher. Our regional PR campaign saw RJ feature in a double-page spread in The Yorkshire Evening Post, as well as several other features and commissions. We secured a wide spectrum of news stories, features, interviews, commissions, and spread the positive message among our 8000 members and 550+ book clubs.
