Esztergom - Stefan Mailloux
Stefan Mailloux is a former soldier, archaeologist, adventurer, journalist, graphic designer, programmer, and communications leader. He's traveled throughout the world, from hiking in the Sahel in West Africa to mapping trails in the Peruvian Amazon to sailing a tall ship through the Leeward Islands. An avid sea kayaker and hiker who has paddled most of the United States' East Coast and has had far too many bear encounters. Mailloux has brushed with death a few times, surviving malaria, dysentery, and a near drowning. Even settling down from a strenous life was not restful as he and his wife raised four children. Mailloux currently lives outside of Philadelphia where he runs a consulting business providing technical communications for multinational corporations, is a member of the alumni board of his alma mater, and tries to get into the woods as often as possible with his German short-haired pointer Lodi.

Esztergom was the mountain, the fortress city that clung to its rocky sides and the realm that fell within its shadow. Ten seasons ago, allied with the Tuden, they warred against the cursed Anartes and Sabine, the White Queen, a powerful witch intent on destroying the gods. Sabine was defeated. The world returned to its old ways. When Merek, the Ground Steward of Esztergom brings new woodrunners to the castle he sets in motion a series of events that could culminate with the end of the gods.
